Where is YAMA Villa and how far is it from Udaipur?
YAMA Villa is a private luxury villa in Ghasiyar (Iswal), opposite the Ghasiyar Shreenathji Temple on Gogunda Road, NH 76, Udaipur, Rajasthan 313001, in the Aravalli foothills north of Udaipur city. By road it is about 19 km (roughly 20 minutes) to the City Palace, and about 20 km to Lake Pichola and Udaipur City railway station.
Is there parking at the villa?
- Yes, free parking is available at the villa, so groups arriving in several cars can park on site. A ground-floor layout with a wide, open pathway helps senior guests.
What is there to see near YAMA Villa?
- Close by are the Ghasiyar Shreenathji Mandir and a local market and cafe. In and around Udaipur are the City Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, Lake Pichola, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace) and the Bahubali Hills. What is included in the stay?
- Exclusive use of the entire estate, including all suites and garden rooms, the infinity pool, jacuzzi, steam room, lawns and gardens. Included are free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a smart TV in each room, daily housekeeping, premium toiletries and towels, bathrobes and slippers, a kitchen, a BBQ setup, a yoga deck, board games, a children's play area, and a dedicated team with concierge help. Meals depend on the package, and airport pickup is chargeable.
How much does it cost, and what is the cancellation policy?
- Rates depend on your dates, group size and occasion, so there is no single price. WhatsApp us for a quote. Rates are quoted for the complete stay and are subject to applicable taxes. Cancellations must be requested in writing at reservations@yamavilla.in. Approved refunds are processed within 10 working days. No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.
How far is YAMA Villa from Udaipur airport and the lakes?
Maharana Pratap Airport (Dabok) is about 35 km away, roughly 30 to 40 minutes by road. Fateh Sagar Lake is about 18 km (around 20 minutes), Lake Pichola about 21 km (around 25 minutes) and Saheliyon Ki Bari about 15 km. Distances are road estimates and vary with traffic. Airport pickup and drop can be arranged for a charge.
How many guests does YAMA Villa sleep, and what is the bedding?
YAMA sleeps up to 26 guests across 6 bedrooms: four villa suites (Fuji, Everest, Kilimanjaro and Olympus) and two garden rooms. Fuji has 2 beds, and Everest, Kilimanjaro and Olympus have one king bed each. Garden room 1 has 2 king-size beds and garden room 2 has 1 double bed. There are also 3 king-size sofa-cum-beds and 4 extra beds. The villa has 8 bathrooms and 10 toilets. The guest total, children included, must stay within the maximum confirmed at booking.
Do we book the whole estate or individual rooms?
The whole estate, always. YAMA is a private, exclusive-use villa, not a hotel with individually bookable rooms. One booking gives one group all four suites, both garden rooms, the common areas, pool and grounds. Partial or per-room bookings are not offered.
Is there a private pool at YAMA Villa?
Yes. The infinity pool and the open-air jacuzzi are for your group only, with no sharing with other stays. There is also a steam room and a pool deck with party speakers. There is no lifeguard on duty, children must be supervised near water at all times, and the pool is used at the guests' own risk.
Is there a chef, and what meals are available?
An in-house chef or speciality cook is available on request. Breakfast service depends on the package, and menus can be tailored in Indian, Continental or Rajasthani styles. The villa also has a fully equipped kitchen and indoor and outdoor dining areas, including private dining by the pool. Tell us about allergies and dietary needs in advance.
Can we host a wedding, party or event at YAMA Villa?
Yes, with prior written approval. YAMA welcomes private celebrations, intimate weddings, pre-wedding functions, birthdays, anniversaries, family gatherings and corporate retreats. External vendors, decor, catering, music or entertainment must be disclosed and approved in advance, and event fees may apply. Amplified music is subject to local noise rules and permitted hours.
How many people can the event lawn hold?
The event lawn at YAMA hosts events of up to 300 people. Overnight stay is for up to 26 guests, so for larger functions the extra guests are day visitors, and outside visitors need prior written approval from YAMA. Message us the date, guest count and type of event to plan it.
Is YAMA Villa pet friendly?
YAMA is pet friendly. Please let our team know about your pet when you book. Guests remain responsible for their pet's behaviour and for any damage.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out depends on availability and may cost extra. Valid government-issued photo ID is required for all guests at check-in.
